Bangladesh Hi-tech Park Authority [BHTPA] aspires to develop a robust innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem for a flourishing economy to keep pace with the dynamics induced by 4IR. The Digital Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem Development Project [DEIED] under BHTPA aims at building vibrant innovation hubs in 10 universities that will serve as the foundational block for the aforementioned ecosystem. The hubs are going to act as epicenters for raising greater awareness of the importance of innovation, nurturing a culture of innovation, inculcating an entrepreneurship mindset, and promoting a collaborative environment, and openness among students, graduates, researchers, and faculty members within and around participating universities. The hub will also strive to break stereotypes, which traditionally block entrepreneurship development processes, especially gender biases. The program will be executed through a consortium led by UPMCS Malaysia [UPM Consulting Services SDN, BHD] with MCC Limited Bangladesh.
The graduates of the Smart Unibator will be incubated and further nurtured by the BHTPA with a range of support, including physical and soft infrastructure. The program is designed in a way that there will be a complete and comprehensive transfer of knowledge to the students, researchers, and faculty members, who aspire to bring technology-driven innovation and commercialize those innovations by forming startup ventures.
For leading the implementation of the program, the Smart unibator Secretariat at NDE Infratech is hiring a full time National program Coordinator.
Job Description
Strategic Planning
Facilitate the design of the University Innovation Hub program and periodically update
Develop SoPs for program operations and ensure their implementation
Providing Training to all stakeholders for transferring to MIS/SaaS including MS 365 for program operation
Program Management
Lead implementation of the University Hub Program with guidance from Key Experts
Lead a team for program management at headquarters, implementing partners and universities
Design and execute call for action for cohort building
Lead execution of the curriculum by engaging mentors, instructors and speakers in association with implementing partners, and university authorities
Facilitate implementation partners and universities for the smooth execution of the program
Stakeholder Engagement
Manage implementation partners to work with universities to deliver the program
Manage relationships with clients of the project [ BHTPA and World Bank]
Maintain liaison and relationship with the authorities of the universities
Coordinate and manage project consortium partners
Manage public relations and communication of the program
Represent Smart Unibator Program at various forums at home and abroad
Monitoring and Reporting on tech usage of startups and innovation teams to partners
Development and update project dashboard of selected stakeholders
Prepare and submit progress report as per requirements set by the management

1. Educational Qualification:
Minimum MBA/ BBA/ Master's in Management/ Economics/ Public Administration/ related discipline from any recognized university or Bachelor's degree in engineering/ technology.
Leadership and Management:
Strong leadership and management skills to manage complex multi-stakeholder project
Proven ability to delegate and ensure teamwork in a complex environment
Strong partnership and client management ability.
Proven ability in strategic management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using project management tools [MS Teams, G-suit, etc]

Experience:
Minimum ten (10) years of relevant experience out of which at least 5 (five) years experience in IT & ITES-related projects in a management position.
Candidates having international exposure related to IT & ITES program management will be preferred.
Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding project objectives and KPIs.
Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
Proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to emerging digital marketing strategies and tools.
