"We often discuss various problems and their solutions," they shared, "but at this stage of our student life, we found ourselves unsure about starting a startup. Still, we showcased our idea on various platforms and kept trying our best to improve with our limited pocket money."

Eventually, they found the guidance they needed at the University Innovation Hub. Through the Hub, they gained the mentorship and resources required to turn their vision into a viable startup. This marked the beginning of Techno Flow's journey toward addressing the global water crisis.


The Spark of Inspiration: Addressing the Challenges of Sensor Technology

The idea behind Techno Flow was born out of a frustration with existing sensor tap technology, which has not lived up to its potential as a water-saving solution. The team saw an opportunity to improve the technology by resolving key issues, such as malfunctions and inefficiency, that have hindered its effectiveness.

"By addressing these issues, our goal is to prevent water wastage in our daily usage," they explained. "We were confident in our idea, but our competitors were strong, making us tense about the results," they shared. Then came the announcement: Techno Flow was named the winning team. "We were speechless when we heard the announcement of our team, 'Techno Flow,' being named the winning team right at the beginning. Yes, we did it!"


What’s Next: Product Development and Team Expansion

With the excitement of winning and pre-seed funding secured, Techno Flow is now focusing on the next phase of their startup journey: product development. Their immediate goal is to invest in research and development, using their newfound resources to create a reliable, market-ready product.

But product development is only part of their plan. The team also intends to grow, recruiting new members to help them expand their capabilities and bring their vision to life. "We plan to invest this money into our research and development sector to launch a desirable and viable product for our customers," they said.
