Today, on 17th January 2024, the University Innovation Hub Program (UIHP), initiated by BHTPA, successfully convened the Training of Trainers (ToT), bringing together a dynamic array of experts and industry leaders from Bangladesh and Malaysia in a virtual forum.

The session was inaugurated by Dr. Ananya Raihan, UIHP’s Innovation and Startup Specialist, with a compelling presentation that delved into the critical components of the program. Dr. Raihan’s insights laid the foundation for a productive mentorship of the cohorts.

Leading the core training module was Mr. Zakir Jaafar, Innovation/ Startup Expert (International) of the program from University Putra Malaysia. Mr. Jaafar imparted invaluable guidance on mentoring techniques, emphasizing the identification and overcoming of potential roadblocks, and the critical evaluation of startup founders. His session provided a roadmap for mentors to effectively nurture and guide emerging startups toward success.

Adding to the richness of the program, Mr. Mohammad Zubaer Alam Tazin, the Implementation Manager, introduced participants to the cutting-edge UIH SaaS platform in a dedicated tech enablement session. This segment underscored the program’s commitment to leveraging technology to foster startup growth and mentorship excellence. The Saas platform is being used by mentors, innovation teams and other stakeholders.

The virtual session was a melting pot of knowledge, featuring local and international best practices that enriched the attendees’ learning experience.

The presence and contributions of National Coordinator M. L. Kabir, Digital Ecosystem Manager Syed Fazle Farhan, and Digital Platform Coordinator Zubayer Ibne Abedin further amplified the event's impact.

This training session represents a pivotal step in UIHP's ongoing efforts to foster a robust, interconnected, and thriving global entrepreneurial ecosystem.
